Police say Amin’s accident occurred when a Wagon-R car allegedly veered from a side road onto the main road and collided with Amin’s Porsche.

Following the accident, both were taken to Kauvery Hospital for treatment and were later discharged and returned home. The Wagon-R passenger injured in the accident was taken to Kalaignar Centenary Super Specialty Hospital. The occupants were later treated and discharged. Police have seized vehicles from both sides of the accident scene as part of the investigation process by the Adyar Traffic Investigation Wing.
