The actress has revealed a very shocking incident of alleged harassment that happened to her on a Bengaluru street late on Sunday night. Expressing her pain on social media, the actress shared this sad experience and raised serious questions on the safety system of women in the city. He clearly asked where is the security that is promised and claimed.
33-year-old Divya Suresh told that this incident happened around 11:30 pm, when she was going towards the car with her cousin. Meanwhile, an unknown person started following them and doing extremely obscene acts. According to Divya, the man was publicly touching himself inappropriately while following her. Even when she protested against this act and interrupted him, he did not stop and continued following her till she sat in the car.
Divya also recorded this entire incident in her camera, in the video of which her cousin is seen advising her to call the police. Tagging Bengaluru Police in her Instagram post, the actress asked a pointed question, where is the security that we are always promised? She stressed that no woman should be a victim of harassment just because she is out walking at night.

A hit-and-run road accident took place in Byatarayanapura area of Bengaluru late on the night of 4 October 2025, in which three people were injured. After examining the CCTV footage, the police named Divya Suresh as the driver of the crashed car. In this case, the police had seized his car and started further legal action.
