Yash’s most awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups’ has been released. It would not be wrong to say that even after four years, Yash’s influence continues, because this film is making good collections at the box office. According to Sacnilk’s live data, the film has made a gross collection of Rs 32.39 crore in India on the first day.
However, the final figures may change by the end of the day. In the film, Yash is seen in a different style for the first time and along with him, actors like Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasant are also in lead roles.

According to Sacnilk, ‘Toxic’ is being shown in 7,938 shows in India. The film has so far registered a net collection of around Rs 27.45 crore from these shows. These figures are being updated continuously. This means that after the full earnings of the day are revealed from many theatres, the first day figures of the film may go up further.
How was the film’s earnings in Hindi?
The film has also got a good start among the Hindi audience. Maximum 5,087 shows have been kept for the Hindi version. About 33 percent occupancy was recorded in these shows and till now the Hindi version has earned about Rs 11.92 crore net. That is, in the initial figures, the Hindi market seems to be contributing significantly to the film’s earnings.
Tremendous craze seen in Kannada
Yash’s film is getting great response in his Kannada market also. According to preliminary data, there were 846 shows of the film in Kannada language, in which about 83 percent seats were filled. This version has earned around Rs 9.12 crore nett so far on the first day. In terms of occupancy, the Kannada version has proved to be very strong for the film.

The most special thing about ‘Toxic’ is that Yash has returned to the big screen after almost four years. This is his first big film after ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, so there was a lot of excitement among the fans about it. The film has been directed by Geetu Mohandas.
