Shribhoomi: At the age of just 23, young talent Samrat Nath, who dreamed of new technology, entrepreneurship and social service, passed away untimely. Samrat, who was battling cancer, breathed his last at 12:35 pm last Friday during treatment at a cancer hospital in Silchar. There is a wave of mourning in Sribhoomi district along with Cachar and the entire Barak Valley due to the news of his demise.
Samrat Nath was a resident of Anipur Basti Sanskrit village of Shribhoomi district. At an early age, he had made his mark in the field of technology and entrepreneurship.
According to his acquaintances, he had a dream to do something new and a deep desire to do useful work for the society. Treatment extended from Bengaluru to Silchar According to the family, Samrat was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bengaluru after cancer was confirmed. He was brought home after there was some improvement in his health during the treatment. However, after a few days his health suddenly deteriorated.
After this he was immediately admitted to a cancer hospital in Silchar. Despite the efforts of the doctors, his condition could not improve and he died late on Friday night. The family as well as the local people are deeply shocked by his demise.
