A heart-wrenching news has come out from Bhojpur district of Bihar. Here Manchurian food proved too much for a family. The health of four people of the same family deteriorated after purchasing Manchurian from a fast food shop in Hasanbazar police station area. One of these, a 6-year-old girl lost her life. The deceased girl has been identified as Kavya Kumari (6). The sick people include Chandwati Devi (70), Bittu Kumar (11) and Rohit Kumar (10). Everyone is undergoing treatment.
It is said that the incident took place in the market near the garden of Bangla village. Kundan Kumar Gupta's family had gone home after buying Manchurian from a fast food shop in Hasanbazar. Everyone ate Manchurian together at home.

Shortly after eating, the health of the family members suddenly started deteriorating. Everyone started complaining of vomiting and stomach ache. The family members immediately took everyone to the nearest hospital. From there everyone was referred to Ara Sadar Hospital.
6 year old Kavya Kumari died during treatment. After the death of the girl, a mountain of sorrow has fallen on the family. Mother is in bad condition due to crying. The other three members are undergoing treatment.
Questions raised on the quality of fast food
After this incident, serious questions have started being raised on the quality of fast food. Local people say that many fast food shops are running without license in Hasanbazar. Cleanliness is also not taken care of in these shops.
Bad oil, expired sauces etc. are used extensively in making Manchurian and other fast foods. These shops are never even inspected by the administration, due to which shopkeepers fearlessly play with people's health.

Villagers told that there are many such shops in the market near the garden of Bangla village, where there is a crowd of youth in the evening. Children like this fast food available at low prices, but no one pays attention to its quality.
Administration engaged in investigation after death
After getting information about the incident, Hasanbazar police station reached the spot and started investigating the entire matter. Police have started searching for the fast food shopkeeper, but the shopkeeper is said to be absconding after the incident. Police say that the actual cause of the girl's death will be clear only after the medical examination and post-mortem report. At present the police has also informed the Food Safety Department about this.
