Party supremo Mayawati has made a big announcement against nepotism in Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). He said that no son of younger brother Anand Kumar will be given any responsibility in BSP. Not only this, their future children will also not be given any post. If Anand Kumar needs any family member in the future, he can keep his only daughter Kumari Deepika Anand with him.
Former UP CM and BSP supremo Mayawati said that like Honorable Kanshi Ram ji, I limited any of my real brothers and sisters, their young family members and close relations etc. to the party's work. He has always been kept away from the post of MP, MLA, minister and any other position of political gain. He further said that I am worried day and night only about the interest, welfare of my 'Bahujan Samaj family' and making them stand on their feet.

'I was forced to keep my younger brother with me'
The former CM said that being unmarried, I have been forced to keep the youngest brother Anand Kumar with me among all my siblings, who has been taking care of me as well as performing important responsibilities of the party under my complete supervision for a long time, but if his family members also take advantage of this, it will not be right in the interest of the party and the movement.
Anand Kumar's sons have no place in BSP
He announced the party's final decision and pledge on his official X account. BSP Supreme said that my final decision and pledge is that now none of his (Anand Kumar) sons will be given a chance to do politics by holding any big or small post in BSP.
'You can take help from your daughter if needed'
If in future Anand Kumar needs any other member to help me while being with me, then in the present political situation he can only take the help of his only daughter Kumari Deepika Anand. Seeing his honesty, loyalty and working capacity, he can also assign his own responsibilities in the party as per need.
Former CM Mayawati said that Anand Kumar will not hand over his responsibilities to his two sons and in future to any of his young children. At the same time, if his daughter is not ready, he can hand over this responsibility to any other missionary worker from the Dalit section of the party only with the general consent of the party.
I will not let the party get harmed
He said that just as Honorable Kanshi Ram ji stood against 'familialism' etc., being his disciple, I too stand firm in the same way, as I have shown by practicing it a lot. If I had not been a girl, I would not have kept any of my brothers and sisters with me like Honorable Kanshi Ram. But being a girl, I have to keep my youngest brother Anand Kumar with me in order to move ahead in the party with full respect and without any hassle regarding my safety.
BSP supremo said that Anand Kumar's children are facing a lot when they grow up and get married. She further said that I will not fall prey to anyone's allurement etc. and will not allow any harm to the party.
