Filmmaker Jayaraj presided over the jury.

This year’s National Film Award includes all those films which received certification from the Censor Board between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. The responsibility of selecting these films and choosing the winners was entrusted to a very special jury of 11 members. It was presided over by famous filmmaker Jayaraj. Jayaraj had earlier also been a part of the jury of the National Film Awards in 2012. After reviewing the entries from across the country, the panel announced this year’s winners.
