US-Iran Ceasefire: Suspense on the deal between America and Iran, diplomat said no agreement until formal signing
A big confusion has arisen regarding the ceasefire between America and Iran. President Donald Trump had declared the deal final, but now American diplomat Alan Ayer has said that no agreement will be considered until the paperwork is completed. Israel’s attack is also being said to have a big role in this entire matter.

Diplomat Alan Ayer said on June 15, 2026 that America had to take this step at the last moment because of Israel’s attack on Beirut. He said that despite the announcement, the deal is not finalized until it is formally implemented.
Earlier on June 14, President Donald Trump had claimed on the social media platform Truth Social that the agreement with Iran has been completed. He had said that now the Strait of Hormuz will be opened and the US Navy blockade will be lifted, which will bring peace in the entire Middle East.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also confirmed this deal. He said both countries have decided to permanently end military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon. He also said that the ceremony of signing this agreement will take place in Switzerland on Friday.
On the other hand, Iran’s Foreign Ministry and Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Sunday asked for some time on the matter of signing. He said that legal and technical investigation is still going on, so the final decision has not been taken. However, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi hinted at the deal, calling it a victory for Iran.
The structure of this entire deal has been prepared with the mediation of Pakistan and Qatar. There are two phases in it. In the first phase, the ceasefire will be extended for 60 days, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened and the American blockade will be removed. After this, talks will be held on Iran’s nuclear program in the second phase.
