Officials have said that all the people injured in the accident are currently in stable condition and are being given proper treatment. The Embassy is in constant touch with the Qatari authorities and is working to provide all possible help to the Indian citizens and their families affected by this accident. This also includes making arrangements to send the mortal remains of the deceased to India as soon as possible. On Sunday night, an explosion occurred in the Ras Laffan Industrial Area, one of the world’s most important energy hubs. The blast occurred when efforts were underway to restart operations at the facility. After this incident, a massive fire broke out in the Barjan Gas Supply Facility, after which emergency response teams immediately reached the spot.
