In this connection, the two actors arrived in Lucknow, where a young man was injured in the crowd during a promotional event at the Phoenix Mall in Krishna Nagar.
After the initial information, different claims were made on social media regarding the incident, but Lucknow Police later clarified the situation and said that the young man had suffered a minor injury in his leg and he is completely safe.

After the video of the incident went viral on social media, Lucknow police informed through social media platform X. According to the police, the youth suffered a minor leg injury while taking photographs at Phoenix Mall.
He was immediately taken to a hospital where he received first aid. Police said the young man is safe and has not suffered any serious injuries. Peace and law and order remain normal at the scene.

During their visit to Lucknow, Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta also met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath . The two actors visited the Chief Minister’s residence on January 31, 2026.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister presented both artists with statues of gods and goddesses. They also had photographs taken after the meeting.
The pair will be seen together again after eight years.
