Chase Plus initiative launched in 30 Navodaya Vidyalayas of the country, Nitin Narang told a big moment

International Chess Day was celebrated on 20 July. Just five days after this, the Central Government is going to organize Chess Plus tournament to develop strategic thinking, logical analysis, foresight, patience, concentration and wise decision making ability in the youth of the country and the next generation. Making the announcement on Saturday, Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary said that after the International Chess Day, the government is announcing the launch of ‘Chess Plus’ initiative.

Launching the Chess Plus initiative, Jayant Chaudhary said that it will be organized with the help of All India Chess Federation (AICF) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (JNVs). He informed that the government will soon start a pilot program in 30 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). Giving information, the Minister said that with this, children will be brought under structured chess curriculum in school classes.

During this, Union Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary along with Chess Federation of India President Nitin Narang and Chess Grandmaster Srinath Narayanan wished the young students good luck for their first gambit.

At the same time, Federation President Nitin Narang described the Chess Plus initiative as a big moment for Indian chess. He thanked Jayant Singh for launching Chase Plus as a pilot project in 30 Navodaya Vidyalayas. Expressing happiness, he said that the Federation is fully prepared for this program.

Nitin Narang said, ‘Chess in schools has always been AICF’s biggest dream. Chase Plus has given it rocket fuel. We are not just teaching a game, we are preparing India’s next generation of Grandmasters in every classroom. Narang said that the future of India’s children looks bright.
