Jailer 2 Explainer: South superstar Rajinikanth is going to return to the big screen once again as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. The trailer of his much awaited film 'Jailer 2' has been released on 5th October and it has increased the excitement of the fans a lot as soon as it arrived. In the first part, Rajinikanth's character, retired jailer Muthuvel Pandian, had exposed a big idol smuggling network, but this time the story is going to reach an even bigger syndicate. Meanwhile, the biggest question is that why did Tiger hide himself and take the form of a driver? So let us understand the story of Part 2-
Tiger becomes Triver in Jailer 2
Talking about the trailer of Jailer 2, it starts with the search for Tiger. Dileep playing the character of Suraj Venjaramoodu was seen gathering information about him. On the other hand, Muthuvel Pandian is seen in a completely different form. He is living a normal life as a driver and has kept his real identity hidden. But the trailer clearly indicates that Tiger has adopted this look not out of compulsion but as part of a bigger mission.
In the first film, behind the idol smuggling network that was destroyed by Tiger i.e. Rajinikanth, another big network has been shown. This is the reason why this time instead of confronting the enemies directly, Tiger is trying to reach inside their systems. He wants to find out who has the real power and who is running this whole game.
What will be the story of the film?
The story of Jailer 2 is connected to the first film itself. In 'Jailor', released in the year 2023, Muthuvel Pandian returns again in his old dangerous avatar i.e. 'Tiger' to save his family. He may have retired, but his strength and fighting style had not gone away. In the first part, he fights a big idol smuggling gang and saves his family and the story of Jailer 2 is going to move forward from here.
However, this time Tigdar is not going to face just one criminal or a small gang. In the trailer of the film, 'Kalpaks Syndicate' has been mentioned, which is bigger and more powerful than the earlier network. In such a situation, the real danger for Tiger is going to come in the second part.

Surya is playing the role of Bondi, Vidya Balan will be seen in the role of Kantha and Sooraj will be seen in the role of Dilip. However, the makers have not yet made it clear what connection these three will have with Tiger's story.
Old friends will also support Tiger
Apart from this, big stars were present along with Rajinikanth in Part 1 of Jailer. At the same time, this formula is going to continue in the second part also. Mohanlal and Shiv Rajkumar are returning to their roles again. Apart from these, Mithun Chakraborty is also a part of the film. Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu and some other actors will also be seen carrying forward the old characters associated with the franchise.
