Good news for ex-servicemen in UP, common service centers will open in 5 districts

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, ex-servicemen, brave women and their families are now going to get relief from visiting different offices to avail government services. West Uttar Pradesh Sub Area has started a new initiative in this direction. Under this, Common Service Centers (CSC) will be established in five districts of the state.

Many important services will be available at one place

Major General Sumit Rana, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Western Uttar Pradesh Sub Area, gave information about this initiative during the Shaurya Sangam ceremony organized at the Veterans Node of Sainik Suvidha Complex located on Mall Road on Monday.

He said that through the proposed Common Service Centre, facilities related to many government services including Sparsh, Aadhaar, PAN card, Income Tax and Passport will be provided to the ex-servicemen and their families. Its objective is to make the work related to important documents and government services more simple and convenient.

Relief from visiting offices

Often, ex-servicemen and their families have to visit different departments for small administrative or documentary work. After the implementation of the new system, they are expected to get assistance related to many services at a single center. This will not only save time but will also make it easier to understand and complete government procedures. This system can prove especially useful for elderly ex-servicemen and their dependents.

Direct benefit to people of five districts

After the launch of the Common Service Centre, ex-servicemen and their families of Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Saharanpur, Etah and Mainpuri are expected to have easier access to government services. Preparations are on to start these centers by the end of October. This initiative is being considered an important step towards providing facilities to ex-servicemen and their dependents as well as simplifying their everyday administrative needs.
