Ingredients for Mirchi Vada
Ingredients for batter: 2 cups gram flour, half teaspoon celery, salt as per taste, baking soda, water

How to make Mirchi Vada?
Step 1: Add gram flour, salt, carom seeds and baking soda in a large bowl and mix all the ingredients together. Add water slowly and then beat the batter well. Keep in mind that the solution should neither be too thick nor too thin. Also, there should not be any lumps in the batter. When the batter is ready, keep it aside.
Step 2: Grind all the whole spices coarsely in a mixer grinder jar. Place a pan on high heat and add oil to it. After this add coarsely ground whole spices and asafoetida; Stir and cook on low flame for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Now add Kasuri Methi and a little water and cook the spices for 1-2 more minutes. After that mash the boiled potatoes and add it to the pan and mix well. After this add dry mango powder, salt and then mash everything with a potato masher and mix.
Step 3: Wash and wipe all the green chillies; Make a slit in the chilli and then cut off the end. Then remove the seeds of chilli with the help of a spoon. Prepare all the chillies in the same manner. After this fill the filling in the chilli. Keep in mind that fill the filling by pressing it well.
Fourth step: Then put the chillies in the gram flour batter and fry in oil. Fry the chillies on medium flame till they turn golden brown and take them out in a strainer.
