Bodies of Indian sailors reached India from Oman, Aditya Sharma and Shivanand Chaurasia of UP were martyred in the American attack.
Dubai. The bodies of two of the three Indian sailors killed in last week’s US attack on a ship off the Oman coast were repatriated on Wednesday. This information was given in an official statement. A day before this, 21 Indian sailors rescued from the Palau flagged ship ‘MT Setebelo’ were brought home.

The Indian Embassy in Muscat said on social media platform The Indian Embassy said, “Our thoughts are with their families in this hour of grief.”
US attacks on MT Setabello
The US attacked three merchant ships with Indian crew off the coast of Oman last week. One of these ships was ‘MT Setebello’. Three people were killed in the attack on this vessel, while others were saved. After these attacks, the Foreign Ministry summoned Ambassador Jason Meeks, in-charge of the US Embassy, twice in a week and lodged a strong protest.
PM Modi raised the issue in G7
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a special session of the Group of Seven (G7) summit on Tuesday, had said that all countries should ensure that sea lanes remain safe and seafarers can discharge their duties without any fear. Modi raised the issue a day before his bilateral talks with US President Donald Trump.
