Digital Desk, New Delhi. Delhi CM Rekha Gupta has launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during the monsoon session of the Assembly. He said that the previous government lacked administrative accountability due to which work related to public interest could not be completed. CM said that our aim is not just to announce schemes but to implement them on the ground. So that it can directly benefit the people.
The Chief Minister said, “These people (Aam Aadmi Party) talk about scams and irregularities. With what mouth do they do it? During their time, the Chief Minister did not keep any department with himself. This was the only government of its kind, there was no such government in any state in the entire country, where the Chief Minister did not have any department and he did not sign on any file. But he used to do everything the same. He used to think that if something goes wrong, I will do it, but if there are signatures, I will be caught. Who will be caught? Minister.”
He further said, “Satyendra Jain went to jail, Manish Sisodia went to jail and used to create mess. The entire government was busy in creating mess. It was busy in upsetting the people of Delhi. Now they did not know that the wooden pot, as strong as the will is, will break one day or the other. The people of Delhi broke this wooden pot. When the people of Delhi broke them, they threw them so far that if they ever come near Delhi again, they would like to show their stand. Still, the people of Delhi will not allow them to come closer.”
CM said, “What accountability do these people have? What accountability do they have towards the public? These people think that if they suppress the CAG report, nothing will come to light. I think how shameless these people are. And I would like to tell that all these termites have been established during their time. After our government came to power, they are spraying pesticides and insects are coming out from there.”
CM said that our government is committed to fulfilling every promise made to the public. Along with transparency and accountability in administration, we also keep an eye on the implementation of schemes. He further said that rather than publicizing the schemes, their impact should be visible on the ground.
