Extreme heat continues to wreak havoc in Delhi-NCR, temperature will rise further in the coming days, IMD issues alert
Weather Update : Now the period of scorching heat has started in Delhi-NCR. The situation is expected to worsen in the coming days. Citizens may have to face intense heat.
The weather will remain mildly cold in Delhi-NCR on Tuesday (April 21) morning, but as the day progresses the temperature will increase rapidly. The temperature was recorded around 24 degrees Celsius around 6 am, while the sky was clear.
Morning weather and temperature above normal
There is a possibility of extreme heat in the afternoon. Although there may be some relief in the evening, the effect of heat may persist even at night. There is no possibility of rain at present. About 24 percent humidity is being recorded in the weather and the wind speed remains at about 8 kilometers per hour.
On Monday (April 20) too, there was hot weather in Delhi-NCR in the morning. The minimum temperature was recorded at 22.8 degrees Celsius, which is 1.2 degrees above normal. Same temperature was recorded at Safdarjung station also.
The minimum temperature in Palam was 22.6 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature during the day is expected to reach around 41 degrees Celsius.
