Forza Horizon 6 arrives on PS5 on January 26, 2027, in India. The Standard Edition is priced at ₹5,499. Pre-orders are live on the PlayStation Store right now.
Forza Horizon 6 launched for all Xbox Series X|S and PC players on May 19, 2026, following Premium Edition early access from May 15. The PS5 version arrives roughly eight months later, timed with the first Premium Expansion and a free content update.
Playground Games developed the main game. Panic Button handled the PS5 port in collaboration with Playground Games and Turn 10, and that is the same studio that brought Forza Horizon 5 to PlayStation.
A physical PS5 edition is also confirmed for supporting retailers, although India-specific retail availability has not yet been detailed.
What PlayStation Players Actually Get on Day One
The PS5 version supports cross-play and cross-save with Xbox and Steam. User-generated content works across platforms too, and that means liveries, EventLab races, Prefabs, Garages, Estates and tuning setups created on other systems will be available from the start.
Players moving from Xbox or Steam can carry supported save progress to PS5 through cross-save, although the PS5 version remains a separate purchase.
Two performance modes are confirmed. Playground Games confirms 4K at 30 frames per second Quality mode, and a separate 60 frames per second Performance mode will also be available. It remains unclear whether the 60FPS Performance mode holds a native locked resolution or implements dynamic resolution scaling. Playground Games has not yet published full technical details or exact rendering profiles.
Editions, Early Access and the First Expansion
Standard and Deluxe Editions launch on January 26. Expansion 1 launches on all platforms on January 21. Playground Games also says a free content update will arrive around the PS5 launch and expansion, with more details to come.
In India, the pricing lines up with the Xbox and PC versions. Standard sits at ₹5,499, Deluxe is ₹7,999, and Premium is ₹9,699. Preordering any PS5 edition includes a pre-tuned Ferrari J50, added to the player’s garage after completing the prologue.
The Premium Edition includes the base game, VIP Membership, Welcome Pack, Car Pass, Time Attack Car Pack, Italian Passion Car Pack, both planned expansions, and the early access window. Players who start with Standard or Deluxe can still buy the Premium Upgrade later.
| Edition | India Price | Access Date | Key Additions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | ₹5,499 | January 26 | Full game |
| Deluxe | ₹7,999 | January 26 | Welcome Pack + Car Pass |
| Premium | ₹9,699 | January 21 | Early access + both expansions + packs |
Japan, 550 Cars and the Horizon Festival
The game is set in a stylized Japan, and players begin as tourists, enter the Horizon Invitational, collect Stamps in a Collection Journal, and climb the ranks toward Legend status. Only Legends unlock Legend Island and its exclusive circuit.
The original Xbox/PC release launched with more than 550 cars, and PS5 players will arrive after months of additional post-launch content, including Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) classics. New customisation tools include Forza Aero options, window liveries and the ability to purchase homes with customisable garages. The Estate lets builders create their own mountain-valley spaces.
Multiplayer modes return with Time Attack Circuits, Drag Meets, Car Meets, Spec Racing Championships, The Eliminator and Hide & Seek. Co-op LINK skills are new, and accessibility options such as Granular High Contrast Mode, Car Proximity Radar and AutoDrive aim to make the open-world festival more approachable.

The Longer Wait
Playground Games had previously announced a 2026 release window for the PS5 version. The confirmed January 2027 date ends the uncertainty.
Whether that head start feels like an advantage or a disadvantage depends on the individual. Cross-save softens the impact for anyone who already played on another platform. New players will still find a full campaign, more than 550 cars and an active multiplayer scene waiting.
Pre-orders are open, with the PS5 editions currently listed in India at ₹5,499, ₹7,999 and ₹9,699, and the only remaining question for many is whether to wait for a potential discount or secure the early-access Premium Edition and the first expansion on day one.
Conclusion
Neither Samsung’s direct store nor Amazon offers a guaranteed advantage across every Galaxy smartphone. The better deal depends on the exact model and storage configuration, the discounts available to the buyer, and the value of any eligible protection or upgrade benefits.

Until comparable prices and applicable offers are checked side by side, a blanket claim that one retailer is cheaper would be misleading. For buyers, the most meaningful comparison is the final payable price, with conditional benefits assessed separately rather than treated as immediate savings.
