Whereas, from Monday to Friday, the school timing will remain the same as before, from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm. There are guidelines for teachers also in this order. According to this, after the completion of regular class timings every day, teachers will have to stay in the school for 1 hour. During this time, teachers will prepare lesson plans for the next day and week, evaluation work, teacher diary update, checking students’ homework and laboratory management. Only after this, teachers will leave the school. Let us tell you that many years ago, there used to be half day on Saturday in government schools of Bihar, later this system was changed.
Regarding the transfer of teachers, Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari said that there are many schools in the state where there are more teachers posted than the sanctioned posts or the ratio of students. Applications for the voluntary transfer of these surplus teachers have been sought in the first phase. 1,06,287 teachers were to apply for choice transfer, out of which 73,151 teachers have applied. Teachers who have not yet applied for any reason can apply again for their transfer from September 17. The choice transfer process will be completed by October 31.
