Carillong is one of the seasonal Monsters in My Singing Monsters, and it can be a little tricky to obtain because it is not available for breeding on Magical Sanctum all year. If you are trying to add this musical creature to your collection, knowing the correct breeding combination and when to use it is essential.
Carillong Breeding Combination
To breed Carillong on Magical Sanctum, you need to combine Mushaboom and Roarick in the Breeding Structure. You can select either Monster first.
The required combination is:
- Mushaboom + Roarick = Carillong
- Island: Magical Sanctum
- Availability: Crescendo Moon
- Default breeding time: 1 day, 3 hours, 9 minutes, and 32 seconds
Both Mushaboom and Roarick are Monsters found on Magical Sanctum, so you need access to the island and have the two Monsters ready before attempting the breeding process.
When Can You Breed Carillong?
Carillong is a Seasonal Monster associated with the Crescendo Moon event. This means you cannot use Mushaboom and Roarick to produce Carillong whenever you want on Magical Sanctum. The Monster must currently be available for breeding.
Seasonal Monsters can return during special availability periods, If Carillong is not currently available, breeding Mushaboom and Roarick will not give you the Seasonal Monster.
This limited availability is the biggest thing to remember before starting your attempts.
How To Breed Carillong
Once Carillong is available, the process is straightforward. First, open My Singing Monsters and travel to Magical Sanctum. Select the Breeding Structure and choose Mushaboom and Roarick as the two parents.
Start the breeding process and wait for the timer to finish. The normal breeding time for Carillong is 1 day, 3 hours, 9 minutes, and 32 seconds. If you have an enhanced Breeding Structure, the waiting period is shorter.
However, getting the correct combination does not guarantee Carillong every time. Seasonal breeding combinations can produce other possible results, meaning you may need several attempts before the Carillong egg appears. Do not assume that a failed attempt means the combination is wrong. Mushaboom and Roarick are still the correct parents.
Tips For Getting Carillong
There are a few simple things you can do to make your breeding attempts more efficient:
- Keep both Mushaboom and Roarick available before the event begins.
- Use Breeding Structures efficiently so you can make more attempts during the event.
- Light Wishing Torches when possible, as they can improve breeding odds.
- Leveling your parent Monsters can also help with breeding chances.
- Use Diamonds to speed up breeding only if saving time is more important to you.
- If your first attempt fails, repeat the same combination while Carillong is available.
Because Carillong is a Seasonal Monster, patience is important. You may get it quickly, or you may need several tries.
Can You Get Carillong Outside Crescendo Moon?
There is another way to obtain Carillong if you do not want to wait for its Magical Sanctum availability. Carillong can also be bred on Seasonal Shanty using Yool and Schmoochle. This is a separate breeding combination and does not replace the Mushaboom and Roarick combination on Magical Sanctum.
Seasonal Shanty is therefore useful for players who already have the required Seasonal Monsters. Carillong can also be moved there after reaching the required level.
What Makes Carillong Useful?
As a Seasonal Monster, Carillong is valuable on Magical Sanctum because of its strong Shard production. Shards are an important resource on the island, making Carillong a useful addition beyond simply completing your Monster collection.
You can also increase its happiness by placing items it likes nearby. Keeping your Monsters happy can improve their resource production, so setting up the right environment is worthwhile.
