Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has given a public reaction for the first time regarding the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Iran and America. He said in a sharp statement that this agreement is not the result of any special eagerness of Iran but is the result of increasing frustration and pressure from the US administration.
Khamenei clarified that the Iranian side showed complete seriousness and honesty in the negotiations, but the most effort and pressure was exerted by America to finalize the agreement. Khamenei also admitted that his personal opinion regarding this agreement was not completely favorable.
