US Ambassador to India Sergio Gore reached Srinagar on Wednesday. Here he praised the beauty of Jammu and Kashmir and said that it is an important part of India. Ambassador Sergio Gore met CM Omar Abdullah at his residence. Speaking to the media, Sergio Gore said, 'America issues travel warnings and we also review them from time to time. I cannot make any big announcement here today, but we will definitely consider this issue.

He further said, 'We believe that the Chief Minister and the administration of New Delhi have taken some excellent steps to make this area more safe. I think many Americans would love to come to Jammu and Kashmir and see its beauty and learn about the opportunities available here.

Sergio Gore also said, 'Jammu and Kashmir is an important part of India. I have come here for the first time and this place is very beautiful. I am very excited to be here. We just had a great conversation. There are some issues that we hope to raise with Washington and New Delhi. It was a very warm and cordial meeting. Relations will strengthen with America and Jammu and Kashmir: Omar Abdullah
CM Omar Abdullah said that a very good meeting took place. We got a chance to discuss relations between the two countries. In this, special attention was paid to what America can do in the matter of Jammu and Kashmir. He further said, 'Obviously there are some old problems, which we will try to solve with time. But we look forward to taking this conversation forward. This conversation will take place between Ambassador Gore and Washington and between me and the central government here in New Delhi.
