The weather may increase problems for many areas in Bihar on Monday evening. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding bad weather in 15 districts of the state. It is estimated that heavy rain may start suddenly in some areas after evening.
Along with rain, there is also a strong possibility of incidents of loud thunder and lightning. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a tremendous increase in wind speed during this period. There is a possibility of strong storm and winds at the speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour at many places. In such a situation, in view of this sudden change in the weather, there is a strong need for people to take special caution.
Meteorological Department will keep a close watch on these 15 districts
The districts with alert issued by the Meteorological Department include Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Nawada, Jehanabad, Arwal, Aurangabad, Begusarai, Darbhanga, East Champaran, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Sheohar, Sitamarhi and Vaishali. However, it is not necessary that the situation be the same in all parts of these districts. The effect of rain and strong storm may be more visible in some special and sensitive areas.
Especially in Karpi and Kaler of Arwal, Makhdumpur and Hulasganj of Jehanabad and many blocks of Nawada, the weather is expected to worsen. Apart from this, there may be torrential rains along with thunderstorms in many areas of the capital Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur and Vaishali. At the same time, in Mehsi of East Champaran, Bakhri of Begusarai, Tariyani Chowk of Shivhar and Runnisaidpur of Sitamarhi, local residents have been instructed to be more careful.
Be extremely careful of lightning and thunderbolts
One needs to be most alert in case of lightning and falls along with rain. As soon as the weather turns bad, instead of staying in an open field or field, immediately move to a safe and solid house.
Never take shelter under a big tree during bad weather. The Meteorological Department has advised farmers and laborers working in fields to be especially alert and remain in safe places.
