A beautiful picture of sensitivity and human concern was seen today in the public hearing. District Magistrate Charchal Gaur seriously listened to the problems of the needy disabled people who came to the public hearing and provided them motorized tricycles through CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) fund with the aim of providing them convenience in transportation. Deepak son Raju, resident of village Tirnahi, Bichhi, Robertsganj, who reached the public hearing, and Shashi son Nanhu, resident of village Markundi, Robertsganj, who are handicapped in both legs, were provided a motorized tricycle by District Magistrate Charchast Gaur.
A look of happiness and satisfaction was visible on the faces of both the beneficiaries as soon as they received the motorized tricycle. This facility will not only become a means of transportation for them, but will also become a medium to carry on their daily life with more ease and self-reliance. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude towards the District Magistrate and the district administration for this cooperation. On this occasion, District Magistrate Charchal Gaur said that providing respect, facilities and self-reliance to the disabled people is among the priorities of the district administration.
The motorized tricycles being provided through CSR funds will help in increasing the mobility of persons with disabilities and reducing their dependence on others for their work. He said that the purpose of public hearing is not only to listen to the complaints but also to provide necessary assistance to the needy citizens by solving their problems. Continuous efforts are being made by the district administration to benefit the eligible disabled people from the government schemes and available resources.
In the same sequence, District Magistrate Charcha Gaur gave a bicycle to village Kaithi resident Ananya Pandey, daughter of Mahesh Dev Pandey, who is a student of Raghukul Academy, Chatra. Happiness was visible on the face of the student after getting the bicycle. The District Magistrate congratulated the student for her bright future and encouraged her to go to school regularly and study diligently.
The District Magistrate directed the concerned officers that the benefits of government schemes and public welfare facilities should be made available to the disabled people and other eligible needy people coming to the public hearing on priority basis as per their requirement, so that help can reach every needy and strong steps can be taken towards self-reliance.
