Volkswagen India has finally officially announced the launch of its new sub-4 meter compact SUV in the Indian automobile market. This most awaited SUV will enter the Indian market in 2027. The car will be based on the 'MQB-A0-IN' platform, similar to the Skoda Kylak. It will be Volkswagen's most affordable German-engineered SUV for the general consumer in India.
Made in India and German technology
The new SUV will be completely manufactured in India, using high-quality local parts. Although the company has kept the car's name, design and features under wraps, its design will be different from the Skoda Kylak and follow Volkswagen's signature styling.
