Punjab News: Political rhetoric regarding the drug issue has intensified in Punjab. Bharatiya Janata Party's proposed 'Drug Free Punjab Yatra' Senior leader and cabinet minister of Aam Aadmi Party before Harpal Singh Cheema Has asked three questions to BJP. He said that before starting the campaign against drugs in Punjab, BJP should clarify its stand on these issues.
Questions regarding drug smuggling and Gujarat-Rajasthan
Harpal Singh Cheema alleged that networks linked to Gujarat and Rajasthan have come to light in the cases of large quantities of narcotics seized in the country. He asked BJP what action is being taken against drug networks in these states.
Cheema also raised the question that the responsibility of border security in the 55 km area along the international border of Punjab is under the Centre. He said that there is a need to strengthen border security to stop drug smuggling.
Issue regarding water of Punjab also raised
The AAP leader also questioned BJP regarding the water of Punjab. He asked what is the BJP's stand on the issue of taking Punjab's water to Haryana and Rajasthan.
Cheema said that BJP should make its stand clear regarding the interests of Punjab and the rights of the state. He demanded the Center and BJP ruled states to intensify action to stop drug smuggling.
Mentioned the action of Punjab government

'Drug Free Punjab Yatra' announced by BJP is going to start from September 18 and under this, programs are proposed in various assembly constituencies of the state. In such a situation, the political debate between AAP and BJP on the issue of intoxication seems to be intensifying before the yatra.
