The district main program of “Somnath Swabhiman Parv” concluded with reverence, self-respect and cultural consciousness at Shiv Baba Dham.

The main district level program under “Somnath Swabhiman Parv”, a symbol of India’s eternal culture, spiritual consciousness and national self-respect, was concluded in a grand and dignified atmosphere at Shiv Baba Dham on Monday. Member Legislative Council Hariom Pandey, District Magistrate Isha Priya, Chief Development Officer Anand Kumar Shukla, Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Jyotsna Bandhu, Joint Magistrate/Deputy District Magistrate Akbarpur Pratiksha Singh, District Development Officer, DC NRLM, Executive Officer Akbarpur Bina Singh, officials of various departments and devotees were present in the programme.
During the program, the devotees and the present crowd collectively gave the message of faith and self-respect by remembering the story of Somnath Temple, a symbol of India’s cultural heritage, eternal tradition and national pride.
Live telecast of the addresses of the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister
Under the programme, the live telecast of the program organized from Somnath Jyotirling in the dignified presence of the Prime Minister and the telecast of the program organized in the presence of the Chief Minister in Banaras was also shown to the devotees. Which people saw with utmost devotion and enthusiasm. Besides, religious and cultural programs were organized with public participation in various Shivalayas located at district, tehsil and development block level and live telecast was shown. Efforts were made to connect students with Indian culture and spiritual heritage through essay writing, rangoli competition and other cultural activities in schools.

The world famous Somnath Temple located in Prabhas Patan, Gujarat is a living symbol of the unwavering faith and renaissance of Indian civilization, which has given the message of self-confidence and unity to the countrymen for centuries. In the same sequence, this program was also conducted in Ambedkar Nagar district with devotion, enthusiasm and public participation.
