Tom Hardy breaks silence on alleged dispute with Helen Mirren

Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren shut down feud rumours at ‘MobLand’ season 3 premiere

Tom Hardy has finally addressed the rumoured feud with the legendary actress Helen Mirren.

The duo collaborated on popular crime thriller series MobLand backed by Paramount+

Following the release of the second season, rumours surfaced that the Venom star had upset Mirren on-set with his alleged lateness, frequent demands for script changes and for his intense working style.

However, the duo has finally put an end to those rumours after they appeared together at the premiere of MobLand season 3.

Recently, Hardy also spoke about the alleged beef during a promotional interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he clearly stated that Mirren’s is his friend.

The Havoc actor further added, “There is literally nothing to say because if you do say something, it becomes a story which it wasn’t even in the first place.”

“You want to say something, but in saying something you invite other things… myths that are usually asinine circulate by those who want it to be a thing.”

Tom believes that the best thing is to comment nothing on the matter.

“The best thing is to just say nothing and just carry on… there’s no salacious, prurient attached to it, it’s just, sometimes these things get sad.” “It means a lot, but that’s my friend, and it’s reciprocal.”

Hardy and Mirren are all set to reunite for a third season of MobLand alongwith Pierce Brosnan.
