An emotional atmosphere was witnessed on Sunday regarding the Twisha Sharma case in Gaur City 16th Avenue Society of Greater Noida West. A condolence meeting was organized in the memory of Twisha in the society premises, in which her family, relatives and a large number of local people participated. People paid tribute to Twisha and raised the demand for justice in the case.
During the condolence meeting, people took out a silent march with posters in their hands and remembered Twisha by keeping silence for some time. During this time many people appeared emotional. The people present said that Twisha was a very promising and happy girl, hence the incident that happened with her has shocked everyone.
Twisha’s family expressed confidence in CBI?
Twisha’s family lives in Gaur City 16th Avenue Society. The family has expressed full confidence in the CBI which is investigating the case. Twisha’s father said that his daughter was extremely talented and that she could take such a step, the family still cannot believe this.
He said, ‘We thank the CJI and are satisfied with the preliminary investigation by the CBI. CBI is a reputed agency, which has solved many big cases of the country. We hope that the truth will come out in this case also. We have full faith in CBI. At the same time, a woman living in the society told that Twisha was of very happy nature. He said that he had also seen the videos of Twisha’s wedding and it was difficult to understand how this happened to her.
The woman said, “She was the only daughter of her parents. It hurts to think what the family was going through. We want the culprits to be given the harshest punishment.” During the condolence meeting, people reiterated their demand for a fair investigation into the case and speedy justice.
