Mayawati has given a big hint regarding the return of Akash Anand to active politics in Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). After this, discussions regarding Akash's return have intensified. His return to the party will happen only after fulfilling a certain condition. BSP chief Mayawati has given information about this sacrifice through a post on social media.
Mayawati has said that Akash can get an important responsibility in the party again only when her father-in-law and former Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Siddharth completely retires from politics. According to him, the party will consider sympathetically giving the responsibility to Akash again only after Siddharth is completely away from politics. Mayawati had recently expelled Ashok Siddharth from BSP.

Why is Mayawati angry with Ashok Siddharth?
Mayawati described Ashok Siddharth as an example of action against those working against the party. They allege that Siddharth gave more importance to his personal and family interests than the mission of BSP. According to Mayawati, along with Siddharth, his son-in-law Akash Anand also suffered the loss. He asked Siddharth to completely retire from politics. According to Mayawati, after his withdrawal from politics, Akash will be able to work independently and the party can consider him for the responsibility again.

Who is Ashok Siddhartha?
Ashok Siddharth has been counted among the old and big leaders of BSP. He is an eye doctor by profession. During his government job, he worked on senior positions in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. In 2007, when he was posted at Gursahaiganj Primary Health Center in Kannauj, he resigned from the government job and joined BSP. Ashok Siddharth has also been an MLA on BSP ticket. Apart from this, he is also a former Rajya Sabha MP. For a long time he held many important responsibilities in the party organization. During this period, he was counted among Mayawati's close and trusted leaders.
Ashok Siddharth has been in the news for another reason also. He is the father-in-law of Akash Anand. Actually, Ashok Siddharth's daughter Dr. Pragya Siddharth is married to Akash Anand. Akash Anand is Mayawati's nephew and has long been promoted in the BSP as the youth and future face of the party.
