The doors to Salman Khan-hosted 'Bigg Boss 20' are set to open on September 6, with the new house embracing an 'Alice in Wonderland'-inspired dreamscape filled with bright colours, surreal elements and unexpected twists.
The house blends familiarity with fantasy, creating a space built around the idea of duality and blurring the boundaries between reality and imagination. Vibrant colors dominate the interiors, while familiar objects have been transformed into unusual design elements.
Among the striking features is a giant teapot pouring into a couch, a magnificent octopus holding chess pieces in its tentacles and a hot-air balloon transformed into a cozy seating area.
This season also introduces Room no. 20which has been designed to hold a surprise of its own. While its purpose remains undisclosed, viewers will discover its significance once the show goes on air.
Sharing the creative vision behind the house, Art Director Varsha Jain said the design was intended to create a world that “constantly challenges perception.”
“We wanted to explore the idea of duality by taking objects and symbols that audiences instantly recognize and reimagining them in unexpected ways so that a teapot becomes a couch, an octopus becomes a chess player, and a hot-air balloon becomes a space to gather,” Jain said.
She added that every element was designed to appear familiar initially while revealing something unexpected on closer inspection.
“The eyes woven through the house bring it all back to the essence of Bigg Boss, the feeling that nothing goes unseen,” she said, adding that the overall aim was to make the house feel like a dreamscape where reality and imagination coexist.
With its unusual installations and hidden surprises, the 'Bigg Boss 20' house promises to give contestants and viewers a visually distinctive setting when the new season premieres on September 6.
