This order has been given by the court while hearing the 173 (4) BNSS application filed by Pankaj Kumar Singh, son of Shiv Dayal Singh, resident of Sirsoti, Naktu, Police Station Bijpur, District Sonbhadra through advocate Arun Kumar Singhal.
In the given application, Pankaj Kumar Singh has informed that Akash Kumar Singh, son of Virendra Pratap Singh and Shweta Singh, wife of Akash Kumar Singh, resident of village Chetwa, police station Bijpur, district Sonbhadra, who were known to him earlier, came to his house and Shweta Singh introduced himself as the agent of City Mutual Benefit India Limited branch, Anpara Auri Mod, police station Anpara, district Sonbhadra. He said to get an RD plan for 4 years. Rs 10,000 will have to be deposited every month for 4 years.
You will get Rs 6 lakh 10 thousand 800 after 4 years. Believing the words of Shweta Singh, he got the RD done on 31 July 2021 by paying Rs 10,000 in cash. 20-25 pages were signed in Anpara branch office. After that again on August 11, 2021, a fixed deposit of Rs 2 lakh was made through check for 3 years. Which has been received by Akash Kumar Singh from State Bank of India branch Bhabhani.
It was said that Rs 2 lakh 81 thousand would be received after 3 years. When 3 years were completed, when the money was asked to be paid, it was said that it would be given soon. Later, if they ask for money, they are being abused and threatened with death. He says that now if the company is not there then the money will not be received. This was reported to Anpara police station but no hearing took place. Then on 21 July 2026, information was given to SP Sonbhadra through registered post. When no action was taken from there too, an application was filed in the court.
While hearing the case, the court, after listening to the arguments of advocate Arun Kumar Singhal and considering the report from Anpara police station in which no case is registered as a cognizable offence, has ordered the Anpara police station head to register and investigate the FIR.
